As part of the ongoing debate surrounding the role of the paraplanner and to try to obtain some clarification as to the role of the paraplanner and what they do, I came across this article which appeared in Financial Adviser on 29 November 2007. It is written by Phil Billingham of Perception Support and though Phil is not a paraplanner he offers some interesting views on the role.
Phil and Financial Adviser have very kindly allowed us to provide a link to the article which can be found here and we would welcome your comments as part of the ongoing debate.
There is also an interesting discussion on the forum looking at the differences (or sometimes lack of them) between administrators and paraplanners. Read both the articles and let us have your comments either below or on the forum. Your opinions are valued and we would love to hear your views.
