Many of you will remember that earlier in the year NMG in conjunction with the Paraplanner conducted the first and so far only survey into paraplanning in the UK. This dispelled a few myths, namely that all paraplanners want to go on to be Advisers, and also provided some vitally important data about the type of people paraplanners are and the influence they have within the Financial Services industry as a whole.

Due to the surveys success we are looking to carry out the survey again so for those of you who completed the survey last time we would be grateful if you would be kind enough to complete this survey and for those of you who are new to the site or didn’t get the opportunity to do the survey last time, please complete the survey and take part; your input would be appreciated.

| Welcome to Paraplanner Census – A chance to get your views heard, plus some great prizes to win
NMG and The Paraplanner are collaborating to launch Paraplanner Census. At NMG we realise how important your role is within the industry so this is a real chance for you to get your views and opinions heard. You may recall earlier in the year we invited you to participate in an initial survey. The response we got was excellent, so we have decided to launch paraplanner census and run the survey more regularly. To begin with you will be asked to provide some basic information about you and your role – if you complete the survey again within the next 12 months you will not be asked to provide this information again. The main survey will cover a range of different topics each time – this month we are focusing on your use of providers, online portals and industry awards. NMG, as a member of the Market Research Society (MRS) Company Partner Scheme, abides by the MRS Code of Conduct. Please be assured that your individual comments remain confidential and are never attributed to you. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes and can be accessed at http://paraplannercensus.nmgsurvey.co.uk. No cash alternatives will be provided. Surveys must be complete in order to qualify for entry. Winners will be notified by phone or email the week after the survey closes. All prizes must be claimed within 6 months of notification, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to extend the closing date of the survey (by a maximum of 5 days from the closing date specified) if our target sample sizes are not achieved.
