Using the site

The amount of information available on this site will grow over the coming weeks and months and we have therefore produced this guide to help you find your way around, keep up to date and add your own views.

Navigation Bar

The main areas of the site can be found by using the navigation bar which is at the top of each page (you can click the image below if you are not sure).

The navigation bar has two menus:

• The red menu takes you to the various pages on the site. If you hover your mouse over each area, a series of links to various other pages will show.
• The black menu lists the main categories each post or article will be listed under. Hovering over each one of these will also show links to any sub-categories. Clicking one will bring up all the posts and articles for that particular category.

Featured Posts

The most recent posts and articles for each category are shown here. You can see each one by clicking the grey tabs and, if you want to read more of the article, the heading of ‘Read More’ link.

Featured Categories

At the bottom of the home page you can see the most recent posts for the following categories:

• Paraplanning
• Our News
• Website and Software Reviews

Simply click the story of interest and you will be taken to the full content.

Blog

Clicking the ‘Blog’ link in the main (red) navigation bar will bring up all the posts in chronological order.

Forum

You can access the Forum by clicking the link in the main (red) navigation bar where you can browse all the posts. In order to post your own comment or start a new topic simply register as a member.

Updates

In the top right hand corner of the site you will see these two icons which will allow you to subscribe to our RSS feeds for new posts (the first one) and all the comments on the site (the second one). If you are familiar with RSS feeds you will know all about these. If not, we will be producing a guide shortly explaining all about them.

Alternatively, you can subscribe to our email updates.  One inside the site you will see the Enews & Updates sign up box.  Just enter your email address and you will be asked to enter a verification code.  You will then be sent an email to your chosen address to make sure it’s you and that’s it.  You will then receive an email each day with a summary of the articles posted on the site that day - no posts, no email.
