T. Bailey is a Nottingham-based multi-manager boutique, which has a 150-year history as a family office managing its own assets. Today, we manage and co-invest in the T. Bailey Growth Fund, the T. Bailey Equity Income Fund, the T. Bailey Cautious Managed Fund and the T. Bailey UK Best Ideas Fund. All are multi-manager funds-of-funds.

Our Philosophy

Once you hand your money over to a typical investment house, it’s not too long before you get a sense of separation. They’ve got your money to manage; you’ve got your life to live. They want to be left alone to think like fund managers; you would like it if, just now and then, they would think like investors.

A case of ‘them and us’

There is one investment house that, because of its history, has never been ‘them and us’, nor ever will be. T. Bailey was formed from a successful family business that began to invest the money it was making. It became so good at investment that soon others asked if they could invest their money alongside it. Today, this continues. Clients invest their money where T. Bailey’s shareholders, directors and staff invest their own money.

This has implications for our relationship with those clients. We understand what they need, because we need it too. We understand what they worry about, because we worry about it too. We work very hard at making the right investment decisions for them, because those decisions are for our benefit too.
